Overview
The American Heart Association (AHA) Emergency Care Programs offered at GoCare Training Institute provide internationally recognized training in lifesaving skills for healthcare professionals, students, corporates and community responders. Learners gain competencies in CPR, emergency cardiovascular care, pediatric life support and first aid response – skills required in hospitals, clinics, emergency units, workplaces and community settings.

AHA Courses Offered
Learners may pursue any of the following internationally certified AHA programs:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
CPR, AED use, choking management and early recognition of cardiac arrest for adults, children and infants. Open to KCPE / KCSE graduates and the general public.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Cardiac arrest algorithms, ECG interpretation, emergency pharmacology, airway management and megacode simulations. For healthcare professionals and senior health sciences students.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Assessment, respiratory distress, shock management, pediatric cardiac arrest and emergency teamwork. For pediatric, maternity, emergency and ICU providers.
Heartsaver First Aid
Bleeding control, burns, fractures, allergic reactions, seizures, diabetic emergencies, stroke and heart attack recognition. Open to KCPE / KCSE graduates, corporates, schools, caregivers and the general public.
Entry Requirements
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Heartsaver First Aid – open to KCPE / KCSE graduates and the general public.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). BLS knowledge recommended.
