GoCare Celebrates Its Largest Graduating Class Yet

GoCare Training Institute marked a historic milestone at its 2026 graduation ceremony as over 300 graduates crossed the stage — the largest cohort in the institution's history. The event, held at our Ruiru campus, was a celebration of resilience, hard work, and the transformative power of competency-based education.

A Record-Breaking Class

The class of 2026 represented graduates from across all of GoCare's programmes — from Healthcare Support Services and Caregiving to Perioperative Theatre Technology, Mortuary Science, Hospitality Management, and Business Administration. Many had enrolled with little more than a KCSE certificate and a determination to build something better for themselves and their families.

Among the graduates were working mothers who attended evening classes, young men who had been told their KCSE grades weren't good enough for further education, and professionals who retrained for overseas opportunities. Every story was different. The destination was the same: a nationally accredited qualification and a clear path forward.

International Certification Highlights

A significant proportion of the class of 2026 also received international certifications alongside their national qualifications:

• SDC Canada CNA Certification for eligible caregiving and healthcare graduates
• AMCA USA Certification for qualifying healthcare support and CNA graduates
• KHPOA-aligned practising licence eligibility for Healthcare Support Services graduates

Graduate Placement and Outcomes

GoCare's placement record continues to grow. The class of 2026 has graduates placed in:

• Hospitals and clinics across Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, and Nakuru
• Homecare agencies and NGOs throughout Kenya
• International markets including Canada, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UK
• Hotels and hospitality establishments in Nairobi and Mombasa
• Self-employment and entrepreneurship ventures
